Supplying one of the Leading Linen Rental Service Providers in Ireland

As a linen partner to some of the best-known hotels in Ireland, Celtic Linen and Vision Linens have a relationship dating back over 15 years.

Celtic Linen is a leading provider of linen rental & professional laundry solutions in Ireland to both hospitality & healthcare markets.

The company acquired Millbrook Linen in 2017 increasing its value to €20million and began a project on investment into their Wexford facility, improving the quality of linen and efficiency of their equipment. Their site in Wexford is now the largest single laundry site in the UK and Ireland.

The acquisition of Millbrook also meant that Celtic could expand to a second location and enhance Celtic’s capacity to serve their main customers; hotels, hostels, restaurants, spa and leisure facilities, hospitals and care homes in the Dublin area and across the rest of the country.

With Dublin being the largest hotel market in Ireland, it continues to grow with new hotels and hundreds of rooms opening each year. In fact, almost 1,000 new rooms were added in 2018 and a further 2,500 rooms expected to open through 2019-20.

A number of prestigious brands are also entering the hotel market in Dublin including upscale lifestyle brands such as Aloft by Marriott, Moxy and Hyatt Centric as well as prestigious names such as The Dean, Hampton by Hilton, Hard Rock Hotel and the new Maldron hotels.

Vision currently supplies crisp, white bed linen and some of the softest, luxurious white towels in our collection to Celtic as well as 100% cotton napkins and tablecloths and satin band table linen. Most recently, Vision has also provided Celtic Linen with our new stylish spa range of leisure and spa towels.

Vision are extremely grateful to have built up a long-standing relationship with Celtic Linen and as a linen partner, they offer some of the very best and high-quality luxury linen products to the country’s most prestigious names.

By working together, they’re delighted to be able to deliver the strict brand standards in today’s market and hope the relationship will continue to be fruitful.

David O’Connor, Celtic Linen’s Hospitality Commercial Manager, said: “Celtics success is down to its dedicated workforce and partnerships with its key partners. Our business is about textile rental and having a key partner like Vision with the capability to provide quality textiles when we and our customers are crucial to our success.

“Key elements that Celtic look for in a partner like Vision are as follows:

  • Reliability
  • Excellence/ Quality
  • Value
  • Expertise

  • CSR & Sustainability”

“We choose Vision simply because of their commitment to us. They are easy to do business with and share the same shared values we do. Corporate social responsibility, ethics, and sustainability are all important factors in the markets we operate.  All products purchased by or produced for the chain, including linen, towels and other textiles come from organic and/or fair-trade suppliers. Our partnership maintains values that are aligned with ours and can be shared.”
“At the end of the day, customers buy from brands they recognise and hotels are no different. Most of our hotels are part of global hotel chains, such as Marriott and Hilton to name a few. These clients have specific brand standards and guidelines that have to be adhered to. Vision is a recognised approved supplier, partner to these hotel chains with proven delivery methodology.”
