European hotel investor and operator, Azure Hotels was founded in 2004 and since then has been involved in over 60 hotel transactions valuing more than 1.5 billion Euros, forging significant and credible partnerships with many of the world’s leading hotel brands along the way.

Privately owned and funded, Azure Hotels primary focus is on the mid-range hotel segment of the market with a typical minimum deal size of 20 million Euros.

The company’s business operations model includes a combination of refurbishment, funding, leasing and marketing for its portfolio hotels; different from many of their competitors across the European region.

With a prestigious reputation in Germany, Azure Hotels have managed and developed the key players such as Regency Hyatt, Holiday Inn, Hotel Indigo and counts Radisson Blu, ONE80° Hostels and Swissotel amongst its clients also.

Due to its involvement with Holiday Inn and the IHG Group, Azure Hotels first ordered from Vision in 2017 and chose a number of IHG-specific items, specially created in accordance with the IHG brand standards.

The IHG products from Vision included pillows, duvets and mattress protectors and these items were rolled out as part of the ‘Next Gen’ standards for both the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express brands.

In fact, we chose to upgrade our textile selection in both Holiday Inn and Indigo as IHG enhanced their brand standards. Through the intranet ordering system, we easily managed to get in touch with our dedicated Vision account manager who visited us shortly thereafter.

The sales representative that visited us presented us with the brand standards and also advised us on ‘best practice’ from other IHG hotels which was a very good approach in helping us with the decision-making process. An offer was submitted shortly after, and then our order processed and delivered in no time at all.

We chose the products we did because they were very good value, the quality of products was excellent and also, from the initial visit, we had our own dedicated account manager who helped with coaching, help and advice. We also questioned sustainability and ethical practices as that’s hugely important to us and were impressed with Vision’s ethical practices.
