Vision Support Services are delighted to announce that we have become a Gold Patron of local youth enterprise, Blackburn Youth Zone (BYZ).

BYZ is a local youth enterprise based in the heart of Blackburn Town Centre aimed at creating a positive future for young people in the Blackburn with Darwen area through a number of activities and projects and we’re honoured to be working alongside them.

Vision prides itself on helping local communities in each jurisdiction in which we operate. Here are just a few of the projects we’ve been involved with previously:

• We’ve hosted a Dragons Den style event to raise money for Kids at school in Nepal
• We’ve raised money for Children’s Heartbeat Trust, Team Oscar and Wilpshire Wanderers Under 6 Football Team
• We’ve slept rough in order to raise money for Blackburn Rovers Community Trust and Nightsafe
• We’ve done an international bike ride to raise money for The Knowledge Foundation in Pakistan

And we’re honoured to be able to add this worthwhile patronage to this list. Over the next couple of months we look forward to telling you more about what the partnership means for Vision and the many ways we will be getting involved to support partnership from fundraising, to volunteering and mentoring.

We want to do everything we can to make a difference to this very worthy cause and we may need to call on your support along the way.
