We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation as it unfolds and are continuing to adapt, following the guidance issued by the government and health authorities to help keep everyone as safe as possible. We still remain to be open for business and have a comprehensive plan in place to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff and to ensure continuity of service to our valued customers. Our partners in China where a large part of our filled goods are made and shipped from, have largely returned to work, our operations are open, the factories are producing and our capability to supply filled goods from the region improves daily. The virus is well documented to be spreading around the globe of which we have operations in China, Pakistan, India, Bahrain, the United States and the United Kingdom. We’ve asked our staff who are able to work remotely, to work from home to prevent the spread of Coronavrius, but it is very much business as usual.
This situation is moving quickly and changing daily. We are currently managing our confirmed order book to balance our stocks and our commitments for projects. Over the next few weeks we will have re-scheduled all our current orders with a firm arrival date. All new filled goods orders will be based on a 16 week lead time. This allows for the additional ramp up period and the port delays expected.
We have stocks of linens and towels at present in our UK warehouse and we are transacting normally on these products.
Your account manager is available to support you as always to discuss the current delivery date of orders. We will work with anyone concerned to minimise delays to your orders. I am sorry for the inconvenience but trust you understand this situation is beyond the control of Vision Support Services.
