Lissadell Liddell Ireland was recently invited to deliver a presentation to the Irish Accommodation Services Institute (iASi). In total 25 iASi members attended the event, including Executive Housekeepers from some of Ireland’s most established and leading hotels.

Dan O’Connell and Marc Wynne from Lissadell Liddell Ireland presented on laundry and linen care for accommodation providers. Key elements of the presentation centred around the changes that have taken place in the market over the past 20 years and the new choices available to hoteliers. This included the development of blended bed linen, towels and table linen and the positive impact this has had on the market. Dan and Marc then covered general laundry advice for hotels with both on premises laundries and those who use a linen hire service.

Following the presentation, the group took part in a Q&A session with many of the Housekeepers sharing their extensive experience. Speaking afterwards Dan O’Connell, National Accounts Manager for Lissadell Liddell Ireland, expressed his delight at the turnout: “We’ve been supporting the iASi for a long number of years and these types of forums are an excellent means for us to gain a better understanding of customers requirements. This helps us to adapt our production processes to suit their needs. We look forward to continuing our support with the iASi!”
