Working alongside LNT Construction, Britain’s leading specialist builder of quality care facilities for over nine years, Vision’s Healthcare Division recently supplied a number of high quality furnishings to the newly opened care home, Nelson Lodge.

Kimberley Reed, Account Manager for Vision’s Healthcare Division, was directly involved with the project from start to finish and ensured all items provided were fit-for-purpose, aesthetically pleasing and within budget whilst adhering to British and European safety regulations.

Specialising in the supply and delivery of products and services to the care and social housing sectors, Vision provides full turnkey design services alongside our extensive range of specialist textile products.

Nelson Lodge, located in St Neots, is a 2-storey I-shaped scheme. The new care facility is part of Anchor; England’s largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care to older people. Working with LNT’S Head of Interior Design, Hiedi Lazenby, Vision supplied the bespoke window dressings, soft furnishings, linens and garden furniture to Nelson Lodge.

Offering first class care and facilities, the en-suite rooms are combined with a light, spacious and elegant setting and the home also benefits from renewable energy sources such as solar thermal panels and ground source heat pumps.

Kimberley said: “Each item at Nelson Lodge was designed to be practical and fit-for-purpose, whilst offering a homely and inviting feel. We are extremely proud to be a sole supplier to Anchor Trust and a partner to LNT in delivering this amazing new care facility.”

Nelson Lodge was officially opened earlier this year and includes 64 bedrooms finished in a range of three designs – two of which are Vision’s own printed fabrics.
