Global textiles leader, Vision Support Services, now have yet another award to add their ever-growing collection; this time in the form of Outstanding Exporter Achievement Award at the International Trade Club Gala Luncheon.
The success comes only one day after attending the Insider North West International Trade Awards where Vision were nominated for International Company of the Year in their £26m – 40m turnover category. Although the textiles giant didn’t win, Vision representatives still had a phenomenal time at the Awards dinner.
On the 2nd December, Managing Director of Vision, Laurie Thomas attended the Dunkenhalgh Hotel hoping to end the year with another prestigious accolade from the International Trade Club. The club, formerly known as the East Lancashire Export Club is the oldest established club in the country and is managed by the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.
The Awards, now in their 11th year, seek to highlight and reward East Lancashire companies for their import and export achievements and Vision were delighted to be presented with a glass trophy and champagne recognising the hugely successful year they’ve had.
The latest award makes up only a small portion of the achievements Vision have had this year, following their Business of the Year award win at the E3 Business Awards in June and after ranking at an impressive number 46 in The Sunday Times International Track 200, making it the second time in three years that the company has appeared on the list.
Vision has also been involved in year-long celebrations this year, as 2016 marked their luxury product brand, Liddell’s 150th anniversary. From a luxury trip around the Kent countryside on board the Belmond British Pullman to producing a history book detailing the humble beginnings of the brand, Vision are now seeing the year out with an extra trophy in their cabinet and a brand new online shop aimed at providing the very best in luxury, specialist and performance textiles, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
