vision style awards 2018 winners revealed

Every year, Vision hosts the Vision Style Awards to uncover some of the most beautiful hospitality venues from around the world. The 2018 Awards were launched back in May with brand new categories, judges and venues; all hoping to recognise the effort, style and flair from across the globe.

The design competition, which began as the Hilden Style Awards back in 2013 originally aimed at independent bed and breakfasts around the UK, has seen over 100 entries this year featuring locations as far and wide as Rwanda, Tanzania, Bali and New Zealand.

Taking place at The Chapel in Harrogate on 24th October, the six esteemed judges chose the overall winners of this years’ awards.

Deciding upon the winners were Lori Pinkerton-Rolet, Director of Park Grove Design, Marc Wynne, International Hospitality Sales Director for Vision, Nigel Haworth, Renowned Chef and Northcote Ambassador, Bill Lumley, Editor of Luxury B&B Magazine, Abi King, Award-Winning Journalist and Blogger at Inside the Travel Lab and Fraser Donaldson, Group Hospitality Sales and Marketing Director for Vision.

Fraser said: “Vision is a global company, committed to delivering our customers’ standards, and so we decided to expand the reach of our awards this year to encompass any hospitality venue, from anywhere in the world.

The standard has been exceptional and all categories have been keenly fought. The winners this year have proved they really are some of the best in form, composition, and ultimately, in style. They really impressed the judges by going above and beyond our expectations with their interiors and they should all be immensely proud of what they’ve achieved.”
